Students new to yoga are encouraged to begin with classes in the Heal & Restore track. This track offers classes designed for new students and also serves students who have experience practicing yoga and are focused on healing, restoration and stress relief.

Students who have a solid foundation in the practice of yoga and are ready to go deeper should explore all of these class styles. Classes in this track offer greater challenges both physically and mentally and cultivate greater states of emotional balance and well-being.

WISDOM TRACK W

This track is for students who are inspired by the ancient wisdom of Yoga and seek personal enrichment. These classes focus on yoga as a living tradition, as a tool for self-mastery and for living in greater alignment with one’s dharma or purpose. Students of all levels are welcome to take classes in this track and we highly encourage a strong foundation in the practice of yoga.

Beginner's Yoga

Beginners’ yoga is designed for anyone new to yoga or continuing students interested in reconnecting to the fundamentals of the practice, including basic yoga postures and breathing practices. You may attend Beginners classes as many times as you like until you feel ready for other PYC class styles and levels. Your instructor will serve as your support and guide based on your needs and your personal goals. The classes, taught by our most experienced teachers, are welcoming, accommodating, and foster a safe, non-competitive atmosphere.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is a classic style of yoga that focuses on traditional poses, proper alignment, breath and cultivation of mindful awareness. Hatha classes offer an intelligent sequence of postures that develop strength, balance, and flexibility. A Hatha yoga class works to relax the mind into steadiness and ease. This style often incorporates straps, blocks, blankets, and chairs to deepen the experience of the pose. Hatha yoga classes are safe, challenging and great for students of all levels. Perfect for both beginners and experienced students.

Hatha Yoga with Wall Rope System

Want to mix up your yoga practice? This class uses a wall rope to practice Hatha poses and to decompress the spine. The ropes work similar to a physical therapist, chiropractor and physical therapist all in one- allowing students’ bodies to come back into alignment in a very gentle way. Appropriate for students of all levels.

Vinyasa Flow 1 with Infrared Heat

Vinyasa Flow 1 is an active practice of breath synchronized with movement. Vinyasa brings an energizing, graceful flow from posture to posture. Vinyasa 1 flow classes are creatively sequenced, using sun salutations with mindful holds, twisting, back bending, and inversions ending with satisfying pranayama and meditation to awaken and connect to the subtle energy body. Ideal for students who are seeking a strong, movement-based practice. Vinyasa classes are taught in our infrared heated studio at 80 to 85 degrees which provide improved flexibility, encourages cellular detoxification, delivers relief from minor aches and pains promotes relaxation.

Completion of Intro to Yoga class and knowledge of sun salutations recommended.

Vinyasa Flow 2 with Infrared Heat

Turn stress into sweat. Vinyasa flow balances and detoxifies your entire body and mind as you move through sun salutations and more challenging postures such as arm balances and inversions. Set to an energizing playlist, you’ll power up your yoga practice like never before. Find your focus and unleash your inner warrior. Vinyasa Flow Level 2 is a high-intensity yoga class that engages every muscle and every emotion as you unlock the mystery of more challenging yoga postures. Alignment meets power when you tap into this intermediate level Vinyasa yoga experience. Vinyasa classes are taught in our infrared heated studio at 80 -85 degrees which provide improved flexibility, encourages cellular detoxification, delivers relief from minor aches and pains and is a gentle, soothing and therapeutic heat which promotes relaxation.

Completion of Intro to Yoga class and knowledge of sun salutations recommended.

Forrest Yoga with Infrared Heat

Forrest Yoga is a hot and sweaty practice which offers a physical challenge with a deep internal focus and emphasizes how to carry a transformative experience off the mat and into daily life. Forrest Yoga focuses on core strength, precision, alignment and breath and challenges you to access your whole being, and to cleanse any emotional and mental blocks. Students’ will cultivate an awareness of their body, breath and life process, providing a unique and powerful opportunity to make practical life decisions. Forrest Yoga does not require experience; it only requires a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly. The practice is founded on four pillars — Breath, Strength, Integrity, and Spirit. Forrest classes are taught in our infrared heated studio at 80 – 85 degrees which is a therapeutic grade heat that provides improved flexibility, encourages cellular detoxification, delivers relief from minor aches and pains promotes relaxation.

Somatic Yoga with Infrared Heat

Somatic yoga uses a gentle series of somatic movements to reverse muscle tension, stiffness, pain and inflexibility that develops from the stresses of our daily life. Somatics and yoga share the same principles of developing a sense of internal awareness and ability to create an improved link between mind and body. These movement series are performed slowly and mindfully linking movement with breath. By learning to regain both awareness, sensation and motor control of muscles, a process that can only be achieved through movement, the brain can remember how to relax and move muscles properly.

This class is appropriate for all levels.

Strength & Tone with Infrared Heat

Strength & Tone is a strong, slow vinyasa flow style class which uses light hand weights to build muscle strength and tone the upper body in a mindful way. Strength & Tone is taught in our infrared heated studio at 80 – 85 degrees. Some yoga experience helpful.

Appropriate for students of all levels who want a challenge.

Stretch & Restore Yoga

Stretch & Restore offers a relaxing opportunity to receive the amazing benefits of yoga without strenuous activity, or to balance an active lifestyle. This unique class is a hybrid of yin and restorative yoga styles. Most yoga postures are seated or reclined, and use supportive props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps and chairs) to facilitate deep relaxation. This class focuses the release of connective tissue (fascia) by holding postures longer to increase flexibility in areas such as hips and shoulders. Come prepared to linger quietly and savor your stretches while reducing stress, and increasing circulation and a calm mind.

This class is perfect for all levels and those who are seeking to heal and rejuvenate.

Sunrise Yoga with Infrared Heat

Sunrise yoga is an energizing practice and is an all levels, Hatha yoga practice which will set the tone for an amazing day! The class focuses on strength, alignment, breath and relaxation. Sunrise yoga is taught in our infrared heated studio at 80 – 85 degrees. The infrared heat is therapeutic grade heat that provides improved flexibility, encourages cellular detoxification, delivers relief from minor aches and pains promotes relaxation.

All levels welcome.

Yoga Tune Up®

This is head-to-toe health and fitness system combining Yoga, Corrective Exercise, and Self-massage, using YTU therapy balls. This class helps heal damaged muscle, and establish healthy movement patterns designed to help you live better in your body.

No prior yoga experience necessary. All levels of yoga experience are welcome.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga utilizes movement, sound, breath, and meditation to relax and restore your mind and body while improving strength, flexibility, and endurance. This powerfully effective form of yoga stimulates the immune, nervous and glandular systems, helping to bring you back into true harmony. It is a sacred and scientific technology that enables you to access your own creative energy to unlock your potential and elevate your consciousness.

*Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is a wonderful way to prepare your body and mind for labor and parenthood while relieving pain and discomforts of pregnancy. Classes are taught to embrace both the novice and experienced yoga Mother-to be at this special time of creation. Prenatal teachers offer safe modifications of standard yoga postures that will strengthen the muscles that support a growing belly and changing body, relieve tension caused by tissue changes, and challenge body and mind to prepare the Mother for the challenge of labor. Eat something light one hour before class, layer clothing, and bring water and a snack with you. Note: Our studio policy is that expecting mothers may only attend prenatal yoga classes.

*Mommy & Baby Yoga

Mom & baby yoga class is for mom and baby (birth/6weeks – new crawlers with mom or caregiver) and allows you to workout, bond with your new baby and meet other moms in your community. The class uses classical yoga, baby play, baby stretches and baby massage and introduces mindfulness and meditation to calm your mind so you can return to your day relaxed and grounded. For new moms, you may begin class as soon as you feel ready for exercise or around 4-6 weeks postpartum. No prior yoga experience necessary.  All levels of yoga experience are welcome.

*Child Blossom Yoga

Child Blossom yoga is a non-competitive and gentle form of exercise that helps promote flexibility, concentration and relaxation. Classes are usually playful and fun, lasting around 45 minutes. They teach children how to stretch their muscles, and to feel connected with their bodies and minds.

Empowerment Yoga for Breast Cancer Care (FREE)

Empowering Yoga for Breast Cancer Care classes include gentle movement, yoga poses specifically modified for breast cancer clients (in all phases of treatment), breath work and meditation. This class requires students’ ability to get up and down from the floor and includes some group discussion.

Requirements: A confidential health history form and medical doctor release will be required after attendance of the first class. The required forms can be filled out in person before the first class. This class is drop-in basis and does not require pre-registration. Please arrive 20 minutes early to your first class if you need to complete the health history form and waiver.
