Chrissa is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Her extensive teaching experience spans various yoga styles, including vinyasa, yoga strength, restorative, yin/yang, heated/non-heated classes, slow flow, and kid's yoga. Additionally, Chrissa holds 15 other fitness certifications in strength, pilates, barre, and more disciplines. Notably, she is a music teacher at the middle schools in Geneva and holds an undergraduate degree in music education and two MA degrees.

Chrissa is known for her expertise in vinyasa and strength-based yoga. Students attending her classes can anticipate a blend of variety and creativity, as no two classes are the same. While she values the importance of a dedicated yoga practice, Chrissa always brings an element of fun and joy to her classes. Her mission is to guide students to tune into their physical and mental needs while enjoying the journey.
What Inspires You to Practice and Teach Yoga?
Chrissa finds inspiration in the diverse styles of yoga, which she believes are accessible to individuals of all ages. She is passionate about incorporating mobility principles from yoga into daily living. Beyond the physical aspects, her greatest joy in teaching comes from forming personal connections with her students.
What Do You Like To Do Outside of Yoga?
Besides her dedication to yoga, Chrissa leads a busy life as a parent to four children. She enjoys staying active, cooking, creating recipes from scratch, and playing and teaching the flute. Additionally, she loves engaging in craft-related activities, planning imaginative birthday parties for her kids, and indulging in crocheting. You might find Chrissa and her family at the beach or exploring roller coaster parks when not working or at home.
