Prairie Yoga Institute
We are honored to continue our partnership with Prairie Yoga to combine our efforts and offer our annual 250 Hour Yoga & Ayurveda Teacher Training Program. Prairie Yoga is the Midwest's premier center for yoga teacher training certification, continuing education workshops and studio classes. It is often called the “Yale of Yoga,” and “The Harvard of Yoga Teacher Training”— and the destination for enthusiastic students of yoga.
Since 2006, as an exclusive yoga teacher training school designed to develop the very best yoga teachers in the Midwest and beyond. Unfazed by the latest yoga fads, Prairie founder Lori Gaspar continues to be passionate about training yoga teachers how to teach with integrity, incorporate techniques from well-established yoga styles, integrate advances in biomechanics and adapt the practice of yoga to all body types.
Tricia Fiske, senior faculty at Prairie has just published her book: From Alignment to Enlightenment: Using Props to Achieve Stability and Ease in Yoga Poses, is a visual compendium of ways to use props to enhance the practice of yoga.
Prana and Prairie offer a contemporary approach to current principles of biomechanics and neuroscience and yet remain deeply rooted in the ancient wisdom of traditional yoga.
