prenatal yoga Classes begin August 2, 2023
Enhance your physical & emotional strength & confidence. Prepare for labor and birth. Connect to the growing life within. Build a community with a cohort of other pregnant folks. Prenatal yoga is a powerful practice to support during pregnancy and beyond!
Each class will include traditional yoga poses with accommodations to properly and safely support the parent and baby. Poses aim to improve stamina, strength, flexibility, toning, balance, and coordination. Practice will also include breathwork and meditation, which are essential in preparation for labor and delivery!
No yoga experience is necessary. All pregnant people are welcome, including single parents, those planning to adopt out, gender-diverse folks, and surrogates.
Participants MUST complete the intake form/release at least 24 hours before attending a class and update the instructor with any newly developed issues related to their pregnancy.
Must register for each class 3 days in advance; minimum 3 students for each class to run. Class cancellation will be determined by 1pm the day before; if canceled, email and text notifications will be sent.
