This 90-minute offering is more than just a remedy for back pain—it’s about learning to use the tools of yoga to develop a deeper relationship with your spine, your breath, and your body’s alignment. It aims to dive deeper into movement patterns and yoga poses that create both mobility and stability in the spine.

You’ll explore yoga poses, breathwork, and meditation designed to support spinal health and help you feel more at ease in your body. Whether you're a long-time yogi or new to the practice, this workshop is designed to meet you where you are.

Jessica’s intention for the class is to offer more than temporary relief. You’ll walk away with:

  • A better understanding of your body’s postural alignment

  • A new awareness of how breath influences back tension

  • Confidence in adapting your current yoga practice to support your spine

  • A handout with the yoga sequence from class so you can continue the work at home.

The class begins with a focus on foundational alignment and breath awareness. You’ll discover how subtle shifts in posture can significantly impact how your body feels. Jessica will introduce gentle core activation to build both stability and spaciousness in the spine.

Then, you’ll move through guided practices targeting each section of the spine—lumbar, thoracic, and cervical—to develop a deeper awareness of how each area moves and supports you.

  • For newer students: You’ll learn safe, sustainable movement habits, how to engage your body without strain, and how to listen to your body’s signals before they turn into discomfort.

Jessica Taddeo is a 500-hour RYT with over 10 years of experience teaching yoga. She is currently studying to become a certified Yoga Therapist through Inner Peace Yoga Therapy. Her teaching is grounded in a holistic approach, influenced by her background in occupational therapy and physical rehabilitation.

Jessica’s passion for spinal health began after healing from a personal back injury. Through yoga and continued study, she has learned to manage her own pain and now shares those tools with others to support healing and balance.
